WILLMAR-- Esther Grussing had 44 set assists and balanced net play sparked Willmar's 25-12, 25-16, 25-15 win over Alexandria in a Central Lakes Conference volleyball match Tuesday.

Cami Sletta led the Cardinals with 12 kills, while Heidi Sellman added 11 more, as Willmar extended its win streak to seven.

Sletta, Staci Banks and Hannah Gallagher all had two aces, and Addie Erickson had 14 digs.

The Cardinals return to action Thursday, with a 7 p.m. road match against St. Cloud Tech.
