KERKHOVEN — Despite early runs and back-and-forth competition, the Belgrade-Brooten-Jaguars earned the prep volleyball sweep over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Monday.

The No. 7-ranked Jaguars managed to withstand the Fighting Saints’ early offensive power and the road atmosphere to win 25-21, 25-16, 25-13.

BBE junior Ava Mueller led the way with 17 kills.

The Fighting Saints put up a fight to start the match, limiting the Jaguars’ offense and exchanged leads throughout the early going.
