WILLMAR -- The Ridgewater men's basketball team dominated the glass in an 86-67 win over Anoka-Ramsey Wednesday.

The Warriors pulled down 62 rebounds, helped by the fact that the Rams launched 75 shots overall, 39 from three-point range.

Three Ridgewater players grabbed double-digit boards and all posted double-doubles: Casey Sussength had 22 points and 13 rebounds, Nathan Nietfeld had 10 points and 15 rebounds, and Breck Weber had 10 points and 10 boards.

Shawn Neu scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and Mike Weber contributed 14 points.

Ridgewater trailed 39-37 at halftime, but clamped down on the Rams from the field, holding them to 25 percent (9 of 36) in the last 20 minutes.

The Warriors also picked up their shooting, improving to 57 percent (20 of 35) from the floor.
