Wildcats take to air in win at Litch

LITCHFIELD -- New London-Spicer quarterback Brandon Adelman hit 13 of 14 passes for 267 yards, threw for three touchdowns and ran for two other scores in the Wildcats' 50-13 win over Litchfield on Friday.

LITCHFIELD - New London-Spicer quarterback Brandon Adelman hit 13 of 14 passes for 267 yards, threw for three touchdowns and ran for two other scores in the Wildcats' 50-13 win over Litchfield on Friday.

Evan Dietz, Nick Perkins and Kelly Bennetts were on the receiving end of Adelman scoring passes, and Perkins also caught a 50-yard TD pass from Bennetts.

Adelman ran for the first score of the game and the last TD of the night. Sam Stageberg ran for 79 yards and a TD.

Litchfield's Isaac Rick ran for a touchdown and Alex Gruenke caught a 20-yard scoring pass from Ben Alsleben in the third quarter.

Josh Kinzler and Michael Trebil stuffed the statsheet in a big 41-20 win against Montevideo to get back on track to start the second half of the season.

Kinzler caught four touchdown passes as part of his 11-reception, 226-yard night for the Falcons. He also added eight carries and 56 yards from the ground, as well as another touchdown. His quarterback, Trebil, finished the night with 448 total yards after completing 22 of his 34 passes for 332 yards with 20 carries for 116 yards.

Dylan Rudningen is so often the story for KMS but Friday night it was all about the defense in a 22-0 win over New York Mills.

The Saints blanked the Eagles and used a pair of touchdowns by Rudningen and an Isaac Call touchdown reception for the win.

On the defensive end, Chris Moist got to the quarterback three times for a sack and teammate Christian Diedrich added two sacks.

Rudningen finished with 24 carries for 166 yards.

The Saints will head home with a 4-1 record to take on Parkers Prairie at 7 p.m. Friday in Murdock.
