Jamie Thompson, Willmar athletic director the past five years, has accepted a transfer from that role to be the new Willmar Area Learning Center Coordinator, Willmar high school principal Paul Schmitz announced Wednesday.
The activities director position will officially be posted on the school website early next week, Schmitz added.
Thompson's office will now be at the Garfield school building on Southwest Trott Avenue.
