WILLMAR - As anticipated, based on the QRF rankings, the Willmar Cardinals will get a home game Tuesday in the Section 8AAAA football playoffs. The No. 4 seed Cards will host Thief River Falls (3-5) in a 6 p.m. start at Hodapp Field.
The winner will advance to play at No. 1 Fergus Falls (7-1) at 7 p.m. Saturday in the semifinal round. No. 3 Rocori (5-3) hosts No. 6 Little Falls (2-6), that winner traveling to No. 2 Detroit Lakes (7-1).
