The Willmar Cardinals baseball team fell to Buffalo 6-4 in eight innings in the Section 2AAA opener Friday night in Prior Lake.
Willmar (11-11) took on Prior Lake later Friday night and trailed 2-1 in the sixth inning when this edition went to press. If the Cardinals lost to Prior Lakes, it would send their season. They would play today if they win.
