The Willmar Cardinals (9-13-2) received the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Section 2A girls hockey tournament.
The Cardinals, who have a bye in the first round, will host the winner of the Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato (5-18) at Hutchinson (11-12-1) in the semifinals on Feb. 12.
Mankato West (12-10-1), the No. 1 seed, will play either Mankato East (12-8-2) or St. Peter/LeSueur-Henderson/Montgomery-Lonsdale (10-11-1) in the second round.
