The Willmar Cardinals earned the No. 1 seed in the Section 2AAA girls basketball tournament and receive a first-round bye.
No. 5 New Ulm and No. 4 Hutchinson play March 2 in Hutchinson with the winner meeting Willmar in the semifinals on March 6 in Willmar.
Worthington is the No. 2 seed and hosts No. 7 Mankato West on March 2. No. 3 New Ulm hosts No. 6 Mankato East in the other quarterfinal.
Willmar (14-3, 20-4) finishes the regular season at home tonight against Little Falls (6-11, 8-16).
