ALBANY-The Willmar Legion baseball team split two games Saturday at the Albany/Avon Wood Bat Tournament on Saturday.
Post 167 defeated Dassel-Cokato 13-4 after losing to the St. Cloud Chutes 10-1.
Willmar plays Marshall at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Swansson Orange, then plays host to the eight-team sub-state tournament beginning July 20 at Swansson and Bill Taunton Stadium.
Against Dassel-Cokato, Willmar's Noah Streed hit a bases-loaded triple and Tyler Johnson had three hits. Grant Bangen also drove in two runs.
Dalton Rambow and Josh Tinklenberg both had two hits and scored twice, and Tinklenberg also drove in a run.

Johnson worked a complete game and struck out nine to get the win.
Against St. Cloud, Tinklenberg, Streed and Bangen managed the only hits off the Chutes Rudy Squerer.

CHANHASSEN-Raymond played a strong game but fell to Cold Spring 3-2 in the Chanhassen Tournament on Sunday.
Cold Spring's Zach Hinkemeyer drove in two runs and reliever Drew Van Loy worked six innings to get the win.

Raymond's Mike Jeseritz had two hits, including a home run, and Kyle Knott also had two hits.
Knott took the loss, working a complete game and allowing three earned while striking out three.
Raymond was 2-1 in pool play, tying Moorhead for the lead. But the Rockets got a spot in the championship game by defeating Moorhead on Friday.
In Saturday's second game, Blue Earth's Bobby Olson hit two-run home run in the seventh inning to tie the game and Aaron Wendt drove in the game-winner in the ninth to lead Blue Earth to an 8-7 win over Raymond.
Justin Koenen hit a home run and drove in two runs, and Brett Swanson had a double among his two hits and he drove in run.
In a 6-3 over Shakopee in Saturday's first game, Knott was 4-for-4 with two RBIs, Koenen doubled twice in four at bats and drove in a run and Calvin Kosminskas doubled and drove in a run. Cole Christianson picked up the win.
The Rockets are 23-8 overall and play Atwater at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Raymond.

Mike Nielsen hit a walk-off grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth as Starbuck overcame a three-run deficit and downed Norway Lake-Sunburg on Saturday in Sunburg.

The Willmar VFW II team split a pair of games over the weekend at the Starbuck Tournament played in Paynesville.
VFW II lost to Hutchinson 6-0 on Sunday after defeating New London-Spicer 6-5 on Saturday.
On Sunday, Willmars Gunnar Banks, Zach Courtney, Nate Spencer and Jared Elkjer had base hits.
On Saturday, Banks had two hits and drove in a run and Phillip Stadem drove in two. Wade Fischer and Zach Courtney also drove in runs.
Banks worked 6-⅓ innings to get the win.
