The Willmar Cardinals (14-8-3) received a first-round bye as the No. 3 seed and will host Saturday's winner of No. 11 Wadena-Deer Creek at No. 6 Detroit Lakes at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
No. 8 Morris/Benson Area (16-7-1) will entertain St. Cloud Apollo (6-17-1) at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Benson.
Little Falls is No. 1 and Sartell is No. 2.
The River Lakes Stars (3-18-1), seeded No. 8 in Section 8AA, will host No. 9 Becker/Big Lake (3-19) in a first-round boys hockey game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Richmond. The winner will play at No. 1 Bemidji (20-2-2) at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the quarterfinals.
Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato (14-9-1) is the No. 3 seed in Section 3A and will play No. 6 Redwood Valley (10-11-2) at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in Litchfield. New Ulm is seeded No. 1 and Hutchinson No. 2.
