While the girls team has 5 wins already, the Willmar boys hockey team opens its season Tuesday at home.
The Cardinal boys host Morris/Benson Area at the Civic Center at 7 p.m. The Storm won the season opener for both teams last year 4-3 in Benson.
The Cardinal girls are on the road to face Section 2A rival Hutchinson at 7 p.m. at Burich Arena. The Tigers (1-1) last played on Nov. 22 while Willmar (5-0-1) was 3-0-1 last week.
