WILLMAR -- Kelsey Guetter's game-high 26 points weren't enough as the Ridgewater Lady Warriors fell to North Dakota State College of Science 78-67 on Friday.
Ridgewater plays next at the MCAC State Tournament, a two-day, eight-team event starting next Friday at Northland College in Thief River Falls.
Guetter powered inside for most of her points, hitting 12-of-17 attempts.
Whitley Strei finished with 14 points for the Lady Warriors (13-11). Brianna Jacobson grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds. Sara Beyer hit a pair of three-pointers and finished with eight points.
Ridgewater played without starting forward Hannah Smith, who suffered a foot injury at Riverland on Wednesday and was held out as a precaution.

Four players scored in double figures for the Lady Wildcats with Kaylin Sheets leading the way with 20 points. Dericka Griffis added 17, Ashley Homstrom 12 and Karis Phillips 11 as NDSCS shot 41 percent from the field.
Ridgewater shot 51 percent from the field, but NDSCS had a 44-36 edge in rebounding.
The Lady Warriors couldn't climb back from a 10-point deficit at halftime as they were outscored only 38-37 in the second half.
