WILLMAR -- Four players hit double digits in the scoring column for Ridgewater with Kristin Phillipp and Courtney Kramer pacing the charge as the Warrior women overwhelms Association Free Lutheran Bible School 92-40 in their home opener Friday.

Ridgewater shot 54 percent from the field, including 65 percent in the second half, and had 27 assists to just 13 turnovers.

Phillipp, a freshman guard from Eden Valley, netted a game-high 21 points with Kramer, a freshman wing from Hector, following with 20 behind 9-for-13 shooting.

"(AFLBS) was shorthanded, but tomorrow will be different," said Ridgewater coach Carrie Ogdahl. "Mesabi Range is tall, physical, quick and very aggressive, but we still had to make our shots (Friday). It's a good way to start."

Ridgewater led 43-12 at halftime and forced the Conquerors (0-5) to commit 32 turnovers. Phillipp and Raeann Sorenson, a freshman wing from Brooten, had five steals each. Phillipp also dished out six assists.
