Women's basketball: Yellowjackets blast Warriors

ROCHESTER -- Ridgewater played anemically on offense in the first half and their condition didn't change much in the second as the Warriors fell to Rochester Community & Technical College 66-44 on Saturday.

ROCHESTER - Ridgewater played anemically on offense in the first half and their condition didn’t change much in the second as the Warriors fell to Rochester Community & Technical College 66-44 on Saturday.
The Warriors shot just 27 percent from the field, fell behind by 10 at the half and watched as the Yellowjackets continued to cruise in the second half of the MCAC Southern Division game.
Ridgewater connected on just 2 of 16 3-point shots (12.5 percent) and commited 31 turnovers.
Allie Seth led the Warriors with 11 points and she also had six rebounds.
Rochester didn’t play much better but enough so that the outcome was never in doubt. The Yellowjackets shot just 34 percent from the field and a paltry 18 percent from 3-point range. They trumped the Warriors with a 24-4 edge in points off turnovers.
