KERKHOVEN -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg won only six of 14 matches against Benson on Thursday, but the Fighting Saints produced three pins, two technical falls and a major decision en route to a 32-31 non-confernce win over the Braves.
Kurt Timmons at 103 pounds, Klinton VanHeuveln at 130 and Jesse Engler at 135 all had pins for KMS. Jordon Rothers at 125 and Matt Stassen at 215 earned technical falls and Joel Bauman at 189 had a major decision.
Benson had only one pin, that coming at 112 pounds from Morgan Staton.
