A photo that was posted to, and later deleted from, the Facebook page for the Farmington High School marching band shows the word "RESIST" spelled out on 10-foot boards, part of their performance of "Dystopia" during their football halftime show. Members of the marching band from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg leads the move Sept. 14 from Bethesda Heritage Center to Bethesda Grand down 11th Avenue Southeast in Willmar. The KMS Marching Saints are going to Hawaii to play at the 75th anniversary observance of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Members of the University of Minnesota Marching Band perform Saturday in the Willmar Senior High Gymnasium. The band, comprised of more than 300 musicians, performed two concerts during the event, now in its 52nd year. Some 4,000 people were estimated to have attended the shows.
