Despite subzero temperatures Saturday, winter fun was had by all during the Spicer Ice Castle lighting ceremony on Saulsbury Beach. The ceremony kicked off Winterfest activities in Spicer. The Spicer Ice Castle was built last weekend in preparation for Spicer Winterfest, which kicks off in earnest this weekend. A lighting ceremony at the castle is set for Saturday evening, followed by celebratory fireworks.
