WCER, the YMCA and the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office will be holding community water safety classes on Saturday at the Dorothy Olson Aquatic Center in Willmar. The classes will teach children ages 6 to 11 important water safety tips, as well as help them become comfortable in the water. The classes first started in 2016. Photo taken in August 2016.

The YMCA gives special attention to the kids, walking with them half a mile to school,  helping in the classrooms, playground and cafeteria, and then running a program back home after school until 6 pm.
