The Clara City Economic Development Authority has offered to finance the construction of a 500-seat auditorium for the MACCRAY School District if voters approve a single-campus proposal. The EDA would then lease the auditorium to the school district.

Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and MACCRAY schools were selected to receive planning assistance grants from the Safe Routes to School program. The program is designed to improve safety, reduce traffic congestion around schools, increase physical activity and improve health.
