A 35,000-square-foot Kohl's opened in Marshfield, Wisconsin, a community of approximately 20,000 people, in the fall of 2016. The store is about 60 percent smaller than an average Kohl's and, according to the company, focuses its stock on what the community wants. Owners of Willmar's Kandi Mall confirmed Wednesday that Kohl's plans to open a 40,000-square-foot store in the mall late this year.
