Toops — Lauer

Wendy Toops and Michael Lauer, both of Hutchinson, are engaged to be married Aug. 22 at Library Square Park in Hutchinson.
Wendy is the daughter of George and Kim Toops of New London.
She is a 2008 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London and a 2013 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in health and physical education.
She is employed by YouthWorks! Inc. as an area director on the Pine Ridge Reservation in  Martin, Manderson and Wanblee, S.D.
Michael is the son of Brian and Cyndi Lauer of Hutchinson.
He is a 2009 graduate of Hutchinson High School and a 2014 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in jazz and studio studies with guitar emphasis.
He is employed by Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson as director of music and worship.
