The bodies of a man and woman, along with two deceased dogs, were found on the 25000 block of County Road 6 in a Lakeview Township residence on Sept. 27, according to a news release from the Becker County Sheriff's Office.
“Waterville friends of the murderer said he could drop five quail with as many shots, and the unarmed wardens had no chance at all," said a contemporaneous newspaper account of the encounter.
A 32-year-old Willmar man and 33-year-old Willmar woman were arrested Monday after CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force agents executed a narcotics search warrant at house in Willmar. According to the release, both face pending first-degree drug charges.

Mauro Berga Lopez-Rasmussen, 29, of Willmar, was convicted of two third-degree drug sale charges in Kandiyohi County District Court and was sentenced Sept. 2 to serve a 39-month and 33-month sentence concurrently. Charges in a separate case were dismissed in a plea agreement.
