A shoe sale event Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, in Willmar sold more than 500 pairs of shoes. The funds raised support food distributions to needy families by the Minneapolis-based Good in the 'Hood organization.
Festivities went well into the night, with a street dance and fireworks show. Olivia's festival will run through Sunday, with the annual Corn Capital parade occurring at 3 p.m. in downtown Olivia.
