Transformers belonging to the McLeod County Power Cooperative were removed from the site of the former Buffalo Lake Biofuels plant and sold. Theft charges filed against the former owner of the property were dismissed.

A 7-year-old boy was inside a car stolen in a northwest Willmar neighborhood Monday afternoon. The suspect let the boy out of the car about a block away. He drove the car into the ditch nearby and was arrested after fleeing on foot.
