Rikki Wold, a New London-Spicer High School senior, is fighting a rare form of cancer while working to graduate from high school this spring. Rikki, her dad, grandfather and uncle were all diagnosed with cancer within a four-week period around Thanksgiving. Benefits for the four family members are scheduled for February and April.

The northbound lane of U.S. Highway 12 near the Willmar Municipal Utilities building in Willmar is closed Monday morning due to a broken water main in the area. Repair work is expected to begin about noon after all utilities are located prior to digging begins.
