The 5th annual Willmar Area Walk to End Alzheimer's brought out hundreds of adults, teens and kids, plus a few dogs, to Robbins Island on an ideal fall Saturday. Katrice Sisson, Community Engagement Manager for the Western Region of the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota-North Dakota, reported more than 500 participants and $49,000 raised, not including donations that came in the day of the walk. Walkers, as able, made three loops on the island road, a total of two miles.
