Brianne Magnolia Wasshuber and Joel Paul Torison were united in marriage Sept. 18 at the home of the groom's parents on Norway Lake in New London.
The bride is the daughter of Lynette Randall and Gerd Wasshuber of Cairns, Australia. The groom is the son of George and Susan Torison of New London.
Matron of honor was Abby Torison, sister-in-law of the groom. Flower girl was Emma Welter, niece of the groom.
Best man was Michael Torison, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Ben Welter, nephew of the groom.
A reception and dance were held at the home of the groom's parents on Norway Lake.

Following a wedding trip to Lutsen, the couple lives in Cairns, Australia, where the bride is employed as an elementary school teacher and the groom is employed as a graphic designer.
