JANESVILLE, Wis. — Three members of the Little Crow Ski Team were part of a world record for barefoot pyramids on Sept. 10.

The world record included eight sets of barefoot pyramids on the water behind one boat going a prescribed distance without falling.

The group setting the record included Jay Donner and Payton Madison of Spicer and Lyle Duerksen, 10, of Willmar.

Also representing the Little Crow Ski Team was Andrew Welter, who is the group’s 2021 show director.

“It took a few tries to get the ropes and speed right, but we did it,” Welter said in a statement. “Everyone was very excited to get their names on this world record.”
