WILLMAR — A fresh coating of powder arrived Saturday with most of west central Minnesota counting 2 to nearly 3 inches of it.
According to reports from the National Weather Service in Chanhassen, snowfall totals in the Willmar area varied from 1.7 inches at Paynesville to 2.8 inches at Benson and 3.3 inches at Redwood Falls.

- Montevideo: 2.5 inches
- Hutchinson: 2.4 inches
- Redwood Falls: 3.3 inches
- St. Cloud: 2.0 inches
The Weather Service forecast calls for cool temperature early this week with a warming trend later in the week. Willmar could see a high of 31 with a mix of snow and rain on Saturday, according to the forecast.
